Depends what they mean by 'disgusting' and 'being in posession of these sorts of things is against regulation.'

Hard to imagine... :?
Against regulations would mean if any person thought the joke was offensive to any group be they disabled, ethnic minority, sex, sexual persuasion etc.

Once you are of a mindset that thinks scousers, brummies, geordie's, jocks, taffs, conckney w@nkers et al shouldn't have the urine extracted, then any 'joke' will be offensive and upset your tofu, natural yoghurt, meusli squirrel sh1te breakfast 8O

I have to say that I find the idea of there being such an organisation as a "Black Police Association" deeply offensive. If ever there was a more exclusive clique within a public service I don't know of it.

Take it from me, SB, I've no objection to anyone extracting the urine about me or my fellow Jocks. Just be aware, however, that we'll send the lads round afterwards to set light to your cat. If you don't have a cat, we'll supply one. 8)

How do they select members for the Black Police association ?

Do you have to be crispy critter black or what.... can you join if you are off white or hint of brown.

Is there a Very Tanned Police Association ?

What about if you are brown, dusky midnight or coffee coloured ?

Does the Black Police association black ball you if you aren't the right shade of black ?

Any association that bases its membership only on colour is of course overtly racist...just wait until the Commission for Racial Equality hear about this, they'll put a stop to this bunch of racists ........won't they ?

Surely it would be "white-balled"? It's starting to sound like the minstrel show.

I find it worrying that the police have an overtly racist group within their midst AND are doing nothing to stop these Black racists from recruiting.

Well if it's not a racist organisation then a white officer can join without a problem.

I wonder if someone who's not in the police can join ?
If the individual was very concerned about the wellbeing of the cops then I imagine he, (or she - got to be PC about this,) would be welcomed with open arms.

Else that would be discrimination against non-policemen. (or women !)

Black Police Officers Associations and similar organisations in the Law Enforcement field, e.g. The Brass Keys in Departments of Correction have been around a long time in the USA and tolerated by the PC brigade. Britain, sadly, appears to be following suit. Unfortunately it breeds distrust and tends to polarise groups along ethnic lines. Although just try to form a Fraternal Order of WHITE anything and the liberal left will be down on you faster than you can say Martin Luther King.

Yes, they do have white members. (Ha ha ha)

The definition of "Black" does not refer to skin colour"
So what does the word Black mean within the context of " Black Police Association" then ?

Extract from - http://www.nationalbpa.com/
The definition of "Black" does not refer to skin colour. The emphasis is on the common experience and determination of the people of African, African-Caribbean and Asian origin to oppose the effects of racism.
Would a 'White Police Association' be equally tolerated?

<The definition of "White" not refering to skin colour. The emphasis is on the common experience of citizens of the United Kingdon of Anglo Saxon Origin to oppose the effects of reverse racism.>
