  1. Alright guys, I am after a bit of advise on a new camera. I currently have a Nikon D300s with various Nikon and Sigma lenses, I swear by this camera (although the new D800 would be nice). The problem is that I am looking for a compact that fits in my pocket, so I don't have to lug my precious work horse everywhere, like family days out etc...

I am looking at the Nikon P310 mainly on cost grounds but also its F1.8 apeture for DoF, but also the ability to be used manually. Can any one here rate this small camera or even advise me on an alternative compact in the same price range. But also pros and cons for the P310 and/or it's alternative.

    Cheers ARRSERS

  2. Gremlin

    Gremlin LE Good Egg (charities)

    Fuji X10. It's a stunning camera.

  3. Having had a look at the specs, I'd have to agree with Gremlin. The 310 I couldn't buy as it only offers JPEG file format and I only shoot in RAW. I have been looking for a little compact to carry about with me and to go on job preliminaries, I'm going to go to the shop and try out an x10.

  4. Thanks guys I will have a look at the X10

  5. Canon G12 is pretty good.
