News story: UK for Iranians on social media

Ministry of Defence said:
Since the closure of our embassy in 2011, the UK has remained keen to stay in touch with Iranians. Our social media channels have helped us to maintain contact online.
We are always looking for ways to develop our social media presence across a range of channels to continue an open conversation with Iranians in the UK and elsewhere. We welcome constructive feedback and ideas from Iranians, so please get in touch. You can reach us at:

Speaking about our social media channels, the Foreign Secretary, William Hague, highlighted the “tremendous” cultural and people-to-people links between the UK and Iran. He added that it was important that Iranians had access to “information about the United Kingdom and our policies towards Iran, but also to make it possible to have discussions, to ask questions. We welcome your participation.”
