Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  2. No doubt there will be the inevitable scoffers and deriders but, just to offset that a little - bloody well done the Sandbaggers Gang!

  3. Are those ........... brown boots? Not scoffing or deriding, great to see.
  4. They are brown boots, but they are not yet on wider issue at RMAS, it must just be a team thing.
  5. The interesting one is that the Chinese were there according to the spreadsheet. PLA, not ROC...

...and they beat the RMAS Red Team, too :)
  6. Can't believe that Penn State ROTC came 2nd!
  7. Err . . . what happened to "Tallest on the Right, Shortest on the Left". That line-up looks like a Mexican wave. :-D
  8. Probably no seniors there to organise it. They tried their best...
  9. Split arrse would have been left holding the trophy...
  10. I guess.

But you might've expected them to at least get som kind of organisation going on (Tallest on the flanks? Stumpies in the middle?) - even if Kromeriz is right.
  11. HHH

    HHH LE

Ah, but what did the ninth team member do wrong to get left out of the photo?
  12. Isn't that a first? You know, a British team winning at it's own game?

This is great news for cricket, football etc etc etc
  13. Just didn't fit in with the others: based on an analysis of the others, that means he was stood properly at attention, with a decently shaped beret, correctly positioned above the eyebrows, cap badge over the left eye.

I'm now quite certain there was no SNCO present . . . .
  14. It seems to be the worlds worst line-up. "Now, ma'am, if you'd kindly point out the one who was wearing the flying helmet & had a celery stalk protruding from their buttocks...'
