News story: Further air strikes in Iraq

Royal Air Force Tornados have conducted further operations in support of Kurdish ground forces engaged in combat with ISIL in north-west Iraq.

Overnight, two GR4s provided vital air support to Peshmerga forces advancing on an ISIL position, conducting a successful precision attack on an armed pick-up truck with a Paveway IV guided bomb.

While I do appreciate that we should be concentrating on EFFECT rather than on COST, does it not seem a little asymmetric that we are going to have to pay several 10s of thousands of pounds to destroy a pick up truck? Assuming the relative abundance of said "targets" in the MENA, are we not risking bombing ourselves back in to bankrupcy?
