Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Old router was playing up so bought a new one. A Belkin N150. Not using it in wireless mode as have to plug in the ADSL cable. Ran through the installation and named the connection Belkin. All finished and now am on the internet, but connected via Realtek PCI controller. Unable to find my Belkin connection (Running windows 7) Do I need to disable the realtek adapter ?
  2. Realtek adapter is the connection from your PC to the router, you would only see the router name ie Belkin if you tried to connect a wireless device.
  3. Thanks. Looked at the router via IP address and am connected with it. All sorted now.
