Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Monday should see the launch of the new login process for the Forces Gateway (front door to Armynet).

    Key differences include:

    Removal of memorable word
    Removal of some registration fields
Password reset system (one-time link sent to email)
Replace 5 security questions with one question and answer (set by user)

We'll also be reseting some old accounts that haven't been used for a while and the system will tell you that you have been reset so you can re-register a new account.

For the hard of hearing, read the first bit of my post ad infinitum.
  5. I think the security is set at an acceptable level based on the classification of data we are protecting.
