Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Our television packed up a couple of days ago and as I have a young kid, the moaning was too much to bare.
Anyway I searched around for an LCD TV and was going to buy an LG model when we went to Comet and ended up coming out with a Sony KDL46T3500 and a Samsung Bluray BD-P1500. At home we have a Virgin Media V+ box,
Everything is now connected via HDMI cables, the Bluray gives a lovely picture just like the showroom but the V+ box although it knows it is connected via HDMI gives a picture that pixelates when things move, is this just a case of having to adjust the settings of the TV or is this just a symptom of a larger TV and something we will have to live with in which case I not bloody impressed!!
I welcome any comments that might help me as the wife is giving me hell about it!! javascript:emoticon('post',%20'message',%20'')
