Labour will never get rid of the XLW and I am sure Sir KS realises that fact very well.
What he can do is take away the blanket power they almost reached under Corbyn, probably the worst leader Labour have ever had.
A return to sensible policies, picking fights they may actually win and not opposing just for the sake of doing so thus leading to a Party that was all over the place; these are some of the potential benefits of Sir KS's leadership.
I expect the next Shadow Cabinet shuffle to see the axing of Rebecca Wrong Daily and other Momentum supporters. At the moment KS is working on the NEC. No Party conference this year so no infighting to put up with. He is in an extended honeymoon period and I expect he is working hard to build his own powerbase.
Or maybe not!
