The comments on her tweet are interesting. Some folk want her to form a new party. I’m just not sure if they’re having a laugh or not.

They often say that (For the far left), but they know that without Labour they are just another pointless gang of misfits like the SWP. They like the power and money that the labour party has too much to leave it.

You dont know who she is? She was attending protests against apartheid when she was still two (although she claimed she was 3, apartheid had finished before her 3rd birthday).

She also wanted a council house because she couldnt get a mortgage on just an MP wages plus the wages of her husband who is president of the National Education Union (cant find his wages on line but the joint general secretary trousers 100k a year).

China is governed by the Chinese Communist Party CPC aka CCP. It hasn't gone away and they have not converted to Capitalism. What they have done is to tolerate capitalism and to leverage it to generate vast wealth. There has been a crack down under Xi on billionaires. They have too much individual wealth and are seen as a threat to the CPC, so they are being "encouraged" to surrender the majority of their wealth for redistribution.
