..and Lammy is the new Shadow Foreign Secretary. Make Abbott Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer and no matter how bad the Tories are, Labour won't get a sniff of being in Government for the next 20 years.

As an aside.
I haven’t seen or heard any news items on the latest re shuffle.

With that in mind, your post could either be serious OR A mickey take :)

That says an awful lot about the current state of the Labour party.

And Angela Raynor as Shadow Minister for Educashon

WTAF?
"Ms Nandy takes a new role scrutinising Levelling Up Secretary Michael Gove." Which implies, A) She knows what the **** to do and B) is charge.

I just want to live to see Litha Nandy ask a cabbie for directions to a Thistle hotel

Here you are, from the Labour Party's very own publicly funded mouthpiece.

Labour Shadow Cabinet re-shuffle.

Mentioning the Abbott was just wishful thinking.

Good to see Ashworth removed from shadow health, he just sounds like a whiney baby that needs a good slap, and his ‘faux anger’ on every subject is just ridiculous imho.

Getting rid of the left wingers and with the likes of Cooper-Balls returning it seems the cowards who ran away when Corbyn was Leader are now putting their heads above the parapet. I hope voters remember how that just sat back and let Momentum f*ck up any chance of Labour getting in to No 10 for at least a decade.

Benn going to be the next one up and running now it appears to be a bit safer for him and his ilk?

Mind you, having said that in post #4,472, it is well past time that a decent Opposition occupied the Labour front benches. Maybe we will start to get the government held to account properly, so that they work more efficiently.

Well they made a right balls of it when they were last in charge, so expect a return to form

What will his first foreign policy decision be? Cheaper knife imports for his community via the one belt and road initiative?

Maybe he’ll cut the foreign aid budget as we don’t want any ‘white saviours’ do we?

How? Only if they were the government in reality.

Would a Labour government today work for the people (for once) instead of the unions, or is that just quaint historical thinking by the unions?

Free eye tests so his community can see a policeman standing near them?

You are both forgetting one thing - these are Shadow appointments and the incumbents have no power whatsoever to introduce any UK policy. Long may it stay that way.
