  5. No, he just means they can only ISSUE it during the day. It still operates at night but you can't feed it past 00:59hours.

  6. On 1st impressions it looks more like a webtex attempt, I already own a a small karrimor OG daysack which has lasted very well over the years so it'll be interesting how this fairs in the field? mind you nothing has beaten my NI daysack yet!

overal without actually getting hands on this issued kit i'm optimistic,

Mind you how long before we see these on ebay?

  7. "Looks like Webtex"
    Ouch! How cruel!
EEeh, back in my day there was only Berghaus or Karrimor!

(Lots of nice ones now I admit!)

  8. BN KARRIMOR MTP/MULTICAM MOLLE DAYSACK PACK RUCKSACK on eBay (end time 08-Sep-10 11:59:14 BST)

nothing i cud do, i was stationed in iraq at this time!

  12. I'd guess that's it exactly, not bad pieces of kit, add a couple of Osprey pouches to the rear and you're pretty well kitted out. The biggest advantage is that the straps are longer and therefore it's easier to get on over Osprey.

There will always be some knobber who complains about it though.

Mind you I quite like Lowe packs.*
