It will be interesting to see what the take is on this book and how van Heerden approaches it. I read from SAS to Blood Diamond War (currently being reviewed for ARRSE) and felt that it was purely an apologia for Executive Outcomes and in parts read like a glossy prospectus for the company. I did not like it!

  2. I had a look at that the other day, I'll be interested to read the review.

  3. Hmmm clears throat, AY it's Executive Outcome not Operations....and they used to off a lot of jam spoons back in the day, also got to deliver the new bank notes printed by De La Rue (not Danny) after the fall of old Saddam in the sand.

Thanks CI, my bad and fixed now.

  5. I will definitely check this out. I read Eeben Barlow's book on EO a few years ago. Very interesting but also I suspect a bit of a whitewash.

  6. Yeah books about Equal Opportunities are brills, the last one I read said you had to treat the blacks, the gays, the jews and women like real people. Who knew?

Erm, that is what the books about isn't it?

That's what you get for reading Mein Kampf!
