My favourites were his comment about the UK population being 8% of the worlds population……Despite ‘Jacobs’ effort. And the John Bon Govey line :)

I watched Politics Live today, for the first time in ages. I was pleasantly surprised to hear a balanced sensible debate! I did not agree with a fair bit of what was being said but the people taking part were allowed to have their say and actually debate! A good programme which I hope continues at this standard.

The one thing that did worry me was a Professor of Politics from Cambridge University saying that he, and his colleagues could not discuss certain matters due to being attacked fir what they say. The discussion was around a Professor of Philosophy at, I think, Essex Uni who is bring hounded by trans supporting students because the prof has said that people are either men or women and just saying you are different can't change nature. She is bring shut down and looks like bring forced out if her job because of these students.jes me angry and wonders what this country has become. The Trans Officer from the NUS at the Uni was asked about freedom of speech but could only come back saying freedom of speech has to be separated from academic freedom but could not explain the difference. A very sad state of affairs which was handled by the programme very well IMO.

its long past time that these students are sacked for bullying and conduct unbecoming but sadly the far left woke socialists in charge of universities these days are just as bullying and aggressive - another consequence of one Tony B Liars university revolution which created a powder keg of over privileged morons on a race to the bottom and the proliferation over many years of Chinese/ far left wing investment (bribes) into campuses and tutors to influence what is taught and how - the whole establishment is rotten from top to bottom and its producing unhappy agitators with useless educations and totally out of touch with reality

and its producing unhappy agitators
A perfect description of the far left and the more vocal Wokerati.
Why are they all so bloody miserable all of the time?!

The irony, and it will flow smoothly over the heads of the wokerati, is the mouthpiece from the NUS was given the opportunity to have her say - something she and her ilk are denying the professor!

It's PMQs (pre-Budget version) and we learn that SKS isolating again, so the opposition put up their deputy leader .... oh, no - it's Selwyn Froggitt.

Not their deputy (Angela Rayner is persona non grata? - or chicken? - or scum allergy?), or their previous leader (now a non-person), but the previous one ... David Miliband.

Or is it Ed Miliband ?. Does anybody know/care ?

Where is Angela Rayner? She’s not at PMQs, she wasn’t at the House of Commons last week for any of the memorial stuff for the murdered MP and her last Twitter post was 12 days ago.
Why isn’t the media shouting from the rooftops where this obnoxious woman is?

It is a very grey haired Mr E Milliband. Either the Deputy Labour Leader is not classed as competent to face the PM or perhaps she is isolating with Sir Kneelalot!

He was pretty ineffective IMO so the spokespersons for the Opposition is currently fairly irrelevant.

Good to hear Mr Ed getting skewered again! As for Angela’s absence, is it still about a ‘family bereavement’ or has she been told to hide in the shadows for a bit longer?
What hasn’t changed at PMQs is Blackford droning on like a burst football. Change the effing record man!

Rayner is allegedly 'still on bereavement leave' - death of her political career, one wonders ?.

eta - it could, of course, be genuine bereavement leave. Would SKS have delayed promulgating his absence until it was too late for her to show up?

St Maggie should be getting praised to high heaven at the COP conference as she did so much for climate change by closing all the pits! :)

What's good and bad in the budget, in brief? I was busy having a life and missed it when it was live on air.
