NEW: Daily & Sunday Politics plus PMQs

Has Soubry opened her mouth to comment yet?
I believe she holds robust views on left-wingers using the term ‘Nazi’ to describe people in political authority.

I'm sure I heard the opposition stand-in at PMQs today referred to as "Rebecca Wrong-Daily."

Either way, I'm nicking that!

"Jo Coburn is joined by Toby Young, Miatta Fahnbulleh, Claire Cohen, and Aaron Bastani (communist) to discuss the Conservative leadership contest, dystopian portrayals of a post-Brexit future in video games, and how to make politics simpler."

Toby took on Bastani's communist ideals and Miatta's downer on capitalism which has enabled millions to rise up from poverty. He pointed out the tens of millions that died under Soviet and Chinese communism. Of course this does nothing to dissuade members of a cult determined to hammer a square peg in a round hole by force.

He won't be invited back on again then.

Totally unbiased panel today . They spent a lot of time dissing Mark Field, in fact just about the whole programme sounded like a Guardian editor's meeting. :pissedoff:

Ash Sarker,that's her.
Says she is a 'luxury communist',whatever that is.
It means she has plenty of money that allows her to play at communism but neither you nor the other peasants are getting a penny of it.

Equivalent of champagne socialist.

Would be more accurate

Liz Kendall (sorry, but I can't see the attraction) on today saying we should have a second referendum because what is on offer isn't what we voted for. Really? We were told that if we voted Leave then basically the world would end, yet 17.4 million people hated the EU so much that they said bring it on. No one mentions that 15 million people were so young, indoctrinated, stupid self centred or even out and out Quislings to vote Remain.

Niall Fergusson stating that Boris isn't a suitable choice as PM (I agree).

Theresa Villiers on pushing Boris. I don't agree with her, but get strangely aroused when she's on the box. Am I unwell?

The really shocking bit in my opinion is the fact he has been Knighted! Given how few Politicians they have had in recent times, the number of mediocre Liberal Democrat’s who have been knighted or ennobled is ridiculous and a disgrace. The whole ‘honours’ system is long overdue a complete overhaul.
