I've just bought a very nice shed on Ebuy (7'x7' and never assembled). Its about 40 miles from me (Dorset border) and I need to collect it. I know I could hire a van from a company or get a man/van combo (I have posted my requirement on 'shiply' anyway), but there'd be no change out of a hundred quid at least and I'm trying to save money. So does anyone in the west Wiltshire area have a large-ish van they're willing to rent out for about 3 hours in the next few days?
  2. You said s**d in the wrong place, this could be messy....
  3. If you can't scrounge one for nowt, you could try your local B&Q. Ours has a van for hourly hire. Ostensibly, it's to enable you to get your goods home, so you may have to buy a box of nails to keep up appearances...

Alternatively, you could hire a trailer for the day for about £35. I know, you haven't got a tow bar...
