Gents,
I understand that there is a new structure to the NBC instructor/advisor qualification. I'm really out of date on this and would appreciate a pointer at where I can find out more.

Thanks

OK eyes down here we go....

NBC Instructor expires Apr 06
Assistant NBC Instructor expires Apr 06

Pre 1999 qualified - have to do whole course again
Post '99 pre '04 have to do the conversion course (3 days)

New course:

1 week - NBC Equipment operator
1 week - NBC Assistant
2 weeks - NBC Instructor

To be completed either as modules or a 4 week course. Must be done in order.

Can be delivered by Distributed Training by District/Brigade Training Teams over weekends etc.

Nicely put.

One other problem though is that the training teams are still awaiting deliveray of all the new equipment before teaching. I certainly know that we are, though most of it is slowly making an appearance.

What is the toughtest thing you have had to do in NBC kit?
Either live in dress cat 3 for 3-4 days at a time...

or sleeping in dress cat 4R for a couple of nights so it seemed..
