National Action - Thank God, We've Been Saved!

Never heard it called that. The Great Patriotic War, Shirley?
Actually, you're right. My memory is playing tricks. The Russians did, however, refer to the German enemy as 'Fascists' rather than 'Germans' or even 'Nazis'. Nazism was just another flavour of Fascism and Hitler very much modelled his movement, in the early days particularly, on the Italian Fascists who were the first out of the trap after WW1.

That said, the Soviets were also fighting Romania (locally flavoured Fascism), Italy (actual Fascism), Hungary, and Spanish 'volunteers' (a different flavour of Fascism). They probably felt no need to make the distinction.

I have to say that National Action's brand and iconography is all a bit too 'dungeons and dragons' for my taste.
I'm sure that Fascism shouldn't come across as being quite so nerdy.
Mark Jones who is currently remanded for alleged membership of NA is a very talented artist. Unfortunately a load of his designs for logos for other far-right groups were found on his computer which scuppered his cance of getting bail so I'm told.

Between Jones and Ben Raymond they created hundreds of designs for stickers or posters.

Funny old thing, this was on the BBC late news last night, BBC exposure of right - wing group with connections to US militia groups, next morning they get busted? Odd?
In the second link I provide, the BBC say they handed over all their evidence on these characters so no surprise they got picked up sharpish

I suspect the threatening to shoot a member of the royal family focused attention and they were named in the report.

The fact MI5 are taking over some of the counter terror roles could prove interesting. Regional policing and interpretation of the terrorism laws has been a bit of a problem at times. The CTU people seem to have taken on board the threat from various elements in the far-right.

It started off as National Action which was split into regional groups. After NA were proscribed in 2016 some of those regional groups rebranded into quasi independent groups to get around the proscription notice. In theory they were supposed to link into an over arching structure called the Nationalist Socialist Network which wasn't in any way a dastardly plan by NA to reform under a different name.

Some of the groups in various parts of the country were proscribed. Scottish Dawn and National Socialist Anti Capital Action (NS-131) were proscribed in no time and a chunk of Scottish Dawn reformed as Scottish Nationalist Society.

And some would say that they are nothing more than an ERW bogey man, who have been served up to the public, simply to appease the left.
NA are not even on a similar scale to the loyalist paramilitary groups in NI IMHO.
White van man just isn't interested in fascist groups IMHO.
That's a remarkably strange way of thinking. We're locking people up to appease the left and they aren't as bad as other drug dealing criminal killers.
When you put it like that, why are the police wasting their valuable police time on this?

What about UKIP they seem to be getting interested, I'm sure there'll be a new word for fascism on Saturday once UKIP unveil (sorry) their new 'advisor'.

All back to Tommys for the house party.

Still think the far left will make a return some time?
