N Korean nuclear strike could cause chaos in US

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Aye I would agree with that, seems to be a lot of back slapping amongst that little group, as opposed to how out of synch they were a few months back.

Lots of high level meetings between the respective militaries too. Chairman of the joint chiefs seemed to be loved long time by Xi.

And some form of... change in the way Xi presents himself. Strutting out in combats and strengthening his control on the military.

    Something is brewing.

  3. Seem to remember reading a little while back that Mattis was suggesting that there was a military option that would not involve South Korea.. Wish I could find it.

I bet the SKs would like to find it too.
  5. It does beg the question 'How would North Korea act towards China if China took any kind of military action along it's border with North Korea'?
  6. Mattis hints at military options on North Korea but offers no details
This is the closest I’ve found:

If China were on board one could assume that action could even be taken through the UN. Doubt the frogs or ourselves would put up much of a diplomatic fight.

In fact Boris was trying his damnedest to give a serious speech on just this subject very recently.

Maybe a bit unlikely but possible. Or worthy of a wittering.

Question is what would Putin demand to support it?
  8. With brown trousers as everything is pointed towards the South and they won't be able to use it in defence
  9. With extreme caution?

  10. North Korea nuclear arsenal too developed to destroy quickly, says Moon
Another olive branch from the south. Moon (Pres) doesn't think that even if Tubby III's regime wanted to destroy their nuke programme it would take considerable time as it is so far developed and is looking for a suspension pending talks:
DPRK don't oppose dialogue but their nukes and missiles aren't 'on the table'
The THAAD 'issue' appears to be on hold rather than resolved:
  11. U.S. government shares technical details on North Korean hacking campaign
FALLCHILL appears to be the next one doing the rounds:
A bit of egg sucking but be careful of the sites you visit. Obviously, check the links:
  12. The fat kid, as a God, apparently according to N Korean information does not have bowel movements.

But there is speculation that his 'non existent sphincter' must be twitching ever so slightly.

There is talk, and there is action/reaction. And he has certainly got some reaction from the mouthing off he has been indulging in.

Enough fire power, and nuclear capability to completely obliterate NK just a short distance away.
