Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Can you help to identify this mystery stableblet?

    1. Probably not a British Stable Belt
    2. Red and yellow, divided by narrow green stripe
    3. Staybrite badge on metal plate, with the words 'Armoured Corps'. written on the scroll. Also the initials KAAC on the gauntlet

To see a picture of the belt please check out the following link.

Any help or information much appreciated,

  2. You sent my Adjutant a letter earlier this year about our Stablebelt, I remember reading it ;o
  3. Probably Commonwealth?

    Aussie?, NZ?, Guhrkas?, Malaysian?, Bermudan?
  4. Enjoyed the Kenyan Army Link.

Some interesting course run at their School of Ordnance.

Ammunition Technician Basic Course = 20 weeks.

Mess Steward Basic Course = 25 weeks.

    Draw your own conclusions!
