My Vetrans Badge Fell Apart

#1
Now I do want appear ungrateful, but you can imagine my disappointment at being sent a Vetran's Badge that fell apart on its first outing.

I got it with my certificate of service in the post last week. The badge came in quite a chic blue velvet cuff link box and looked pretty impressive. Anyway I carefully removed it from the box and went to pin it to my institution dressing gown and it fell apart.

Actually it is probably fitting that the sign of my nation's gratitude; it sort of fits the UK's MoD procurement culture as most of the kit I was given over 28 years has been pretty sub-optimal. Shoddy stuff for T Atkins is the way of things after all.

Has anyone else had the same problem with their little badge?

Typical bl00dy officer! :p can't even pin a badge on without breaking it!

Mines fine thanks :D

I'm sure you'll be allowed another one but your going to have to take it to the QMs and explain in triplicate what happened, when it happened and why you shouldn't have to pay for it.

It's a fake. It seems the dodgy manufacturer can't spell "veteran".
