My telecoms training course with CTTS Lincoln

#1
Chaps,

When I told you about my telecoms/fibre cabling course with CTTS, many of you were interested in where I was doing it and what the course entailed.

On the third week of five now and although much of it is a skullf@ck - decibels, attenuation, electrical theory etc , there is some excellent practical to be had - splicing and testing fibre, working with a mock NTL set up there that is actually live to their systems and fault finding. Still lots of the course to go and the stuff I've learnt so far is phenomonal. CTTS are the preferred supplier of telecoms training to those folk in the resettlement system. If anyone has a question about the training or telecoms careers, post it on here so others can see or simply PM me if you prefer.
