My new boxing fitness regimen

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Before going to the boxing gym i need to raise my level of fitness to prepare myself, this will all be done at home, no gym.


    Monday ~ run 3 miles
    ~ shadow box (5x2 minute rounds)
    ~ jump rope (5x2 minute rounds)

    Tuesday
    ~ Jog 6 miles (anerobic)
    ~ punchman (5x2 minute rounds)
    ~ situps, weighted and regular, board and crunches

    wednesday
    ~ run 3 miles
    ~ shadow box (5x2 minute rounds)
    ~ jump rope (5x2 minute rounds)
    ~ pressups two two minute all out best efforts
    Thursday
    ~ jog six miles
    ~ punchman (5x2 minute rounds)
    ~ jump rope (2x5 minutes)
    ~ pressups

    Friday ~ work on technique and footwork,

    saturday ~ test day/ run 3 miles as fast as possible, do as many decline situps as possible and as many pressups as possible
