Hi guys, just a question for you, was my granddad one of the first ASM's? He was the ASM at the Fighting vehicle school in india during WW2.

yes i can see now it was a badly worded question. He was WO1 Cyril Piper, posted to the armoured fighting vehicle school at Amadagur at the end of 1941 beginning of 1942

Probably better off speaking to the REME Museum, they might be able have a look or know who to speak to with regards to the answer to your question!
