  1. For some reason I keep getting sent incidents reports from Essex Fire and Rescue Service...

    Incident No: 1684
    Date: 27-01-2012
    Time: 13:24
Details: Van driver trapped upside down in RTC
    Address: Ingatestone Road, Ingatestone
    Attendance: 2 x Brentwood

Crews used specialist cutting equipment to free a van driver suspended upside down by his legs after the three-and-a-half tonne large goods van he was driving overturned. Before efforts were made to free the trapped casualty - in his 40s - firefighters worked to stabilise the vehicle.

The casualty was freed by 14:04 hrs and left in the care of the Ambulance Service.

Crews reported that they will be detained at the scene for some time, clearing the roadway of large quantities of excrement which had spilled onto the roadway.
