Music You Like Which Is Bad

I reckon that the vast majority of people looking through my music collection would consign most of it to the "bad" pile

Another of theirs that did the rounds in the clubs in the 90's.
That one is quite simply a classic. I saw the Toy Dolls many years ago at Blackhill club near Consett. In those days the punks in the audience would gob on the band, and Olga called a halt to proceedings and announced if the gobbing didn't stop they were off. Superb live band

A spoof CD in that style is available.

My kids getting in to Queen after the film has led me to revisit the music of my you rth.

Had a listen to Penetration for the first time in 40 years today. Utter garbage but far better than most of the singer-songwriter garbage that passes for music today.

Meh.

in the 90s I didn't think music could be even worse than the 80s. The 00s disabused me of that idea. Last year I realised that the Sh¡t Posing As Music had fallen off a cliff, and by comparison, the 90s were tolerable.

Music now for me is "Alexa ... stop" away from turning off Wave105 and puttting on the Sky Q box, YouTube and watching Brit Floyd Live At Red Rocks.

Internet Radio helps, I play a lot of German radio stations that unironically still play a lot of obscure rock and metal

This one was doing the rounds in Germany in the early 80s.

Anyone know the German for 'buttock clenchingly embarrassing'? This managed to make Schlager musik sound edgy. (I particularly like the kazoo solo during the middle eight).
