Music for the Apocalypse

Absolutely.
I saw that as well. Excellent.
I was concerned of (this being ARRSE) being asked if I'd "caught the ghey"
A bit of man-spread Armageddon seemed appropriate.
Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries is a bit too uplifting I think... Wagner's DerWeg in Walghal as used in Requiem for a Dream is the 'Go to' classical track for newsreels showing multiple 3 second clips of end of the world events and disasters... cue 3 second clips of piles of coffins, crematoriums working at full pelt, mass graves ...and finally zombies... never forget the zombies...

PLAY LOUD!! STRIKE THE FEAR OF GOD INTO YOUR NEIGHBOURS!

..
..and if zombies are on the cards then the track would of course be...

Needs to be updated with charmers of today. Perhaps some self isolating Arrser with time and skills could have a stab. I suggest Piers Morgan should feature.

Anyone done this classic yet? Seems slightly suitable especially with the social distancing crap.

Amazing voice too of course.

Local radio's golden hour was from 1971. How inappropriate are these lyrics?

Where it began, I can't begin to knowing
But then I know it's growing strong
Was in the spring
And spring became the summer
Who'd have believed you'd come along
Hands, touching hands
Reaching out, touching me, touching you

Sweet Caroline
Good times never seemed so good
I've been inclined
To believe they never would
But now I
Look at the night and it don't seem so lonely
We filled it up with only two
And when I hurt
Hurting runs off my shoulders
How can I hurt when holding you
One, touching one
Reaching out, touching me, touching you…

Social distancing! Two metres, ****.
