As a chef who is a new promoted CPL is it a bad career move to apply to be a MTI??

 

It would be - The trade is dead.

Do you mean MSI - this would allow you to pop out of trade and teach for a while. The bonus being that you will retain your high band pay, be promoted quicker as a chef and if you find instructing new recruits pants you can bin it.

 

Never did me any harm. As Dinger says it lets you go off and try other things, You need some teaching quals to go with it (Drill SAA CBRN)

 

Yes it did, you came back boring the life out of everyone with your "i left you in this position..", "its your own time now" and "rifle fires, rifle stops so get the beers in" dittys!!!

Your instistence on saying the last one in the local pub, everytime it was someones round was annoying to say the least.!
