MPGC

31, married, mortgaged to the hilt, bored to death with my civil service sector job sitting in front of a computer all day pulling in 15 grand a year.

I did 3 and 1/2 years in the TA.

Am I eligible for MPGC, and would the wages be similar to what I'm on now?

I'm attracted by the static posting and the thought of doing it to fill a couple of years before doing something else. I tried the phone number on the website a few times but it rang out everytime.

I'm live in Glasgow but don't see any problem with commuting through to Edinburgh-I assume from seeing MPGC's about that I'd be based up at the Castle? I'm sure I saw them at a place just ouside Ed aswell though.

Anybody in MPGC here? What's it like?

Cheers,
The Haw

The MPGS have moved and as such their website was out of date for a while. It as apparently up to date again and the new contact details are now on it.

The money will be better and you can get Married Quarters but the boredom will be similar, visit the site and speak to the blokes doing the job before committing to it.

All the best whatever you decide.
