I had read Hermann was a bit odd.

Same with the (cockpit area of) B17 and the DH Mosquito, among others.

Plus; if there was a piece of glass where you could see the U/carriage, landings would be a doddle.

Oddly below for Mosquito bombers and above for the fighters. Probably because that area was full of shooty things on the fighters.

No 'probably' about it.

Bottom hatch entry was common on Luftwaffe types like the heinkel 111 and Ju88 so it was probably similar.
Planforms show spring loaded handholds on the left going up to the cockpit, and likely a bottom hatch as well.
 
But stealthy... The first full size aircraft with a low RCS without being a flying triangle. Lots of clever maths to determine what would work.
