Molded Ear Defence

#1
Hi all

Just been issued with the new custom molded ear defence for OP HERRICK and I have a few questions.

1. Am I right in thinking that they can be worn without the black cord and if there is a loud noise or bang they block it out?

2. http://store.apple.com/uk/product/TV691ZM/A?fnode=MTY1NDA0Ng&mco=MTE0NDA2ODQ&p=2&s=topSellers
I fould these headphones on the net and was wondering if they will just be able to plug into the ear pieces and save on having to pay to get some moe done.

Thanks in advance

1. The black cord is there to stop people losing them.

2. I don't know about those, but the Shure ones ( http://www.iheadphones.co.uk/headphones/23943/Shure+SE115+Black.htm ) work.
