Modesty marks the bravest at abbey

I still remember the first time I saw Pte Beharry. I've been in a long time and seen a fair few things, but I felt a profound feeling of, I dunno, respect when I saw the VC. True hero's tend to be modest, I guess.
I particularly liked this quote:

There were seven other recipients of the VC in the abbey. Sir Tasker Watkins, 89, recognised for his heroic leadership in Normandy in the battle for the Falaise Gap in 1944, said: "This is the umpteenth time we have been through all this. We are all too old to be careering around the country and running around the city. It's not my cup of tea at all."

Thats the stuff that heroes are made of!
