    Based in Belfast, the Controls Engineer will provide innovative solutions to a wide range of control related projects. This role requires engineers with a specialist controls or Algorithm development background. Industry experience is not specific for this position, it is more important for candidates to have previous experience of developing either analogue or digital systems.
    Suitable candidates are likely to be technically strong and applications are also welcome from PhD qualified individuals who may have experience of research and development in the controls sector. It is necessary for candidates to demonstrate proficiency in modelling and simulation applications, preferably utilising Matlab/Simulink. Activities such as Precision Servo Control Loops and “Hardware in the Loop” are relatively common to most industries and these transferable skills will be ideal to the working environment.
    Candidates should be degree calibre or ideally hold higher qualifications e.g. PhD, MSc or membership to a professional organisation.[hr]Click for more information about this job......
