  1. I heard a report on this morning's Today Programme, BBC Radio 4, that MoD has instructed police (MoD/RMP?) to spy on injured service personnel. The aim is to confirm that they are actually injured and thus entitled to claim benefits.
    Any such surveillance would be launched under the provisions of the anti-terror laws, which have proven so effective in controlling public littering and gaining access to adequate state education for one's offspring.
    Makes me feel warm and cuddly all over.
