MOD Civil Service Pay

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. In all the fuss about the award of the Operational Bonus (and the details have just been promulgated), those of us who are closely supported by MOD Civil Servants might not be aware that their annual pay rise has still not been agreed by the Treasury - 3 months after the due date.

The AFPRB usually does a pretty good job in publishing its pay report for uniformed personnel in Feb/Mar of each year. I consider it a shame that the MOD still cannot agree to pay its civilian employees their annual pay rise on time. And I note that inflation, as measured by the RPI, has increased considerably over the last year - which means an effective pay cut for those employed by the MOD.

Hug a Civil Servant today - they might need it.
