Does anyone know how much notice is meant to be given to an employer when an employee is mobilised.
its all covered in your mobilisation pack. basically as soon as that arrives you need to inform them giving them time to prepare for your absence
Thanks for the reply, what I need to know is, what is the recommended period of time allowed between the letters being sent out and reporting date at Chilwell.
Four weeks. In theory.
Reality has been known to vary greatly. In theory though, your employer should already know you're going and the approx reporting dates so the odd day here or there shouldn't be a drama.
