"“In essence they’re working for free, but I can tell you every single person who has knocked on my door for an internship or work experience has ended up with a job. Every single person, because they back themselves.” "

Has it not occurred to the dim bint that they're knocking on doors where the paid jobs are on offer and giving her a big swerve because she expects something for nothing?

Unpaid internships are the bane of society. Far too many industries take advantage of them - I have a few friends in fashion and media who've struggled with them, even after putting all in. I was lucky enough to work in the engineering side of things, where they really don't do unpaid stuff.

Hell, I wish I was in software right now, those are some of the best paid ones around - more than most people get paid full time per month.

I know a bunch of millenials. None of them are like the people being described here. They're all hard working sensible people who I admire a lot. I suspect a lot of the 'millenials ate selfish' media generated bullshit is just that - bullshit.

A video created by the millennials, for the millennials. ;)

No right to water? You might want to rethink that. In the UK water companies are forbidden from turning off the supply to consumers, no matter how much they owe. They can certainly pursue them in the courts, but not shut off their supply. There's a reason for that.

Yes and the real reason is the danger from infection, disease from a dwelling that has no clean water.

i used to think all the millennial articles the BBC keeps pumping out are meant to show their support for that particular age group but i'm starting to think its to give everyone else something to point and laugh at.
