Well this thread piqued an interest for me.
I was given a book at work on the 20th Service Bn the DLI and in the last pages is a list of all ranks and their fate in uniform. What I was curious about was the entries marked; KR Para 392 followed by a date.
I at first thought the worst but a trip around Google brought this to light;
KR 392
Frankly I was relieved to find that the history of so many families wasnt ended under a blindfold! :oops:

(b) By the wife




I guess some of the boys preferred to take their chances against the Hun, rather than their missus.... LOL......
