Military Expeds, who's doing what?

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Hello ARRSE

I'm trying to find out about what military expeds are upcoming/ongoing.

I'm an ex-bootie, now working on this website we feature stories about expeditions and adventure races from around the world.

For example: The Walking with the Wounded team that made an Everest attempt earlier this year, and the group of wounded septics who are currently having a go at Denali we also want to hear about less ambitious UK stuff like the RM C/sgt who ran 176 miles form Poole to Lympstone in under 48 hrs.

There's loads of great trips that lads in the services are doing to raise a few quid, we want to hear about them so we can broadcast them to our membership & get them a bit of exposure (also its great content for our site).

So if you know of any upcoming/ongoing expeds that could do with a bit of extra PR please let us know. If you're a member of one of these teams then you can write about it directly by joining Explorers Connect (its free) and post it in our news section by following this link

If you have an area of special expertise or an essay about a past exped you would like to submit it can go in our resources section, like this article about jungle equipment and if you have left and have skills which employers in the adventure travel industry might need then you can fill out one of our professional profiles

Many thanks & look forward to hearing about some lads trips soon.
