Migrants carry disease burden

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. "Migrants make up about 70% of TB, HIV and malaria cases in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, a report has found.
The Health Protection Agency said this was a "disproportionate burden", but stressed it reflected a small fraction of people not born in the UK.

In its first report on migrant health, it also found there was little evidence to suggest the general population was being placed at increased risk. ...."

any suggestion as to what should be done? give more to charities helping people in poor countries who can't afford anti-malaria medication or BCG jabs (if that is still the anti-TB thing? I had that at about 17 but may have been replaced now)

or replace all the corrupt governments who spend their money on lives of luxury for their officials whilst the people live in abject povertyy?
