MH17: Russia 'liable' for downing airliner over Ukraine

In news marginally more surprising than the sky is blue and the sun will come out tomorrow the long awaited report identifying who destroyed a civilian airliner over the Ukraine in 2014 resulting in the murder of 298 civilians holds Russia responsible - the Golden 'No Shit Sherlock' is no doubt on the way to the Dutch investigators

So who is responsible for what seems at best to be a monumental ****-up and botched cover-up?

Step forward the Russian 53rd Anti Aircraft Brigade - presumably more interviews without vodka coffee for any survivors of the command element or any of the operators from the fire unit still alive.

and the botched cover-up? Well the usual suspects, RT, State Media useful idiots, @KGB_resident and the St Petersburg team. Good job apologists for mass murder

So, let's hear the denials......

I wonder when the Stop The War Coalition et al will start protesting? Everyone grab a placard and parade outside the Russian Embassy?

Niet?

My favourite part of all this is that the Russian government have said the investigation can't be complete or accurate without full Russian involvement!
Now, even if I've somehow missed the Russians continually offering to help in the investigation I also note that without their co operation they have managed to blame Ukraine for this event, and without their co operation they have managed to come up with over 30 scenarios for the Salisbury attack.

I often wonder why they don't just admit to what they do. They have also recently said they wont recognise any court the Dutch/Australians take them too so nothing much will happen to them even if they admit guilt.

Given the technical nature of the system, its distribution, the tactical ground situation and the timeline of the engagement, it its always been difficult not to conclude that it was a Russian regular army crew operating it at the time of the incident.

The subsequent pile up of evidence about the movements and identity of the actual launcher, all reinforced that conclusion.

The various Bellingcat presentations that prempt the offical investigation are compelling. The photo ID of the actual launcher in Ukraine and in its home barracks in Russia is particularly incriminating evidence.

I doubt if the St. Petersburg Squad will bother with this one as the Cloggies so obviously have them bang to rights.

The Cloggie mill might grind exceedingly slow but it grinds exceedingly small.

The St Petersberg gang have already been blaming Ukraine for this from almost day one.

Even when debating the vids of the system being backloaded in and out of the area they say the convoy doesnt contain enough vehicles so can't be Russia.

They say the radio intercept of the battery commander is fake.

They say the vids of the convoy/system are fake

They say the blast ring on the aircraft fusilage doesn't prove anything.

My favourite excuse was that the BUK in question wasn't the latest model in service so that proved it wasn't Russia.

And now Russian state media is saying the Dutch/Austealian investigation has said something else to what we all know it actually PUBLICLY said.

And Russia continues to deny that a Russian missile with Russian serial numbers fired from a Russian launcher photographed in Russia could possibly have anything to do with Russia

Presumably Comrade Corbyn will be along shortly to say it's a Zionist conspiracy

Russians kick shit out of Brit fans = Russians deplore actions but can't identify perps.
Brit lamps Russian thug in self defence
= We've caught a British hooligan and he can expect Russian custodial hospitality.

Are you suggesting Russians are all less than honest with their dealings with the rest of the world and that's why they're despised by their neighbours? I couldn't possibly comment personally....

I've only ever met one I liked - an air force colonel who was ace. The rest have been either dour-faced peasants in carpet slippers or sneering, shaven-headed no-necks with 0 people skills. They do great granny porn though... probably.

Cause they're like every criminal I ever saw nicked; they think they're the victim, not the perpetrator. Cause denial was easier than facing up to the truth they'd been a ******.

I just don't get Russia. Big country, tons of natural resources, A people capable of effort and intellect yet they still behave like they have an inferiority complex.
I'm interesting, why do you think so?
One could suggest that the British are capable of effort and intellect yet they still behave like they have an inferiority complex. There are many examples - bombing of Belgrade, Libya, Iraqi war, torture of innocent people in Iraq.

Returning to MH17 new claims made by the Dutch investigators, it should be said that there is nothing new except remains of BUK missile with serial number that were shown. They appeared out of the blue. They were not mentioned previously. When, where, by whom they were recovered? It is not clear. Ukrainians could disassemble one of their missiles for this purpose.
Btw, has British mass media reported about one interesting detail?
According to the serial number, the missile was produced in 1986. Its safe period of use is 15 years that could be extended for additional 5 or maximum 10 years. Russian MoD claims that all Russian BUK missiles produced in 1986 had been disassembled and utilized up to 2011.
Let's look at BBC

The article doesn't contain arguments proposed by Moscow.

So what your saying is Moscows lying - it had to be a Russian owned missile as the Ukraine wouldn't have the facilities to maintain and relife a time expired missile and thus a missile of that age would not be available for use by the Ukraine.

Thank you for that resounding confirmation of Russias Culpability in this matter - Its refreshing to see you refuse to parrot the party line
