  1. Hello,

Does anyone know the full version of the Navy rank MEM(M)2?

My apologies its a navy question, and I'm not sure if this is right section, just need some swift help with research.

    Thanks

  2. My bet is Marine Enginering mechanic (mechanical) 2nd class. But then it changes every other week so who knows.

Btw there is a link to the navy version of arrse at the top of the page.

  3. Cheers for that, and I'll try and post this at rum ration.

Correct. It is equivalent to Private.

This rate existed up until the mid 1990's along with MEM(L) when the two were combined to form plain old MEMs. More recently (2007) Marine Engineering Mechanics and Weapon Engineers have been combined to form Engineering Technicians so the new equivalent rate would be ET(ME)2.

    Confused? You should be.
