  1. Hey everybody,

    Im a 17 year old female who is 5'7 and weighs 12.12stone. Im wanying to go into the army as a medical support officer. And just wondering if anybody would know what id have to do physically and mentally? The website only shows so much. And one more thing has anyone got a rough guide on what the kit list would be like? Thanks.

    The basic qualification is that you must have 240 UCAS points, be medically healthy, pass AOSB briefing, Main Board and the Commissioning Course at Sandhurst. You also need to be reasonably physically fit and agile and pass a Mental Aptitude Profile. What you should do is fill out the online application and see whether you can get on an 'Insight Course' or something similar.

    From what you've said in your first post, your height-to-weight ratio indicates that you will need to do some work on your fitness to maximise your chances of getting through the process.
