  1. Hi all,

    Are your medical records always asked for if you're applying to be an officer, and if so who from and at what point?

    Before I get abused too much, I've tried using the search function and can't really find a definitive answer to my question...

  2. Yes they are. Before they let you anywhere you fill in the RG8 declaration, signed by your GP, which summarises your medical history. If you pass briefing, you send your whole medical history to the doctor types for assessment.
     
  3. Yes your medical history will always be scrutinised, why what are you trying to hide?
