  1. Hi there. I recently submitted my officer application and should be off to pre-board within a month or so. I've got a question about the medical hopefully someone can help me with.

Over four years ago I had a series of three blackouts across a few months. My doctor put me through an eeg, ekg, mri, etc to check for any underlying problems but the tests all came back fine. In fact he suggested it may be as simple as occasional low blood sugar due to a combination of exercise, not eating enough and growing. I haven't been affected at all since then. However I've heard that a history of blackouts can result in failing the army medical. Does anyone know if it's likely I'll fail?

    Thanks in advance.
