Medical Knowledge?

From what I've read on here, all Combat Med Techs seem to do is put up tents and occaisionally put a plaster on someone who's fallen off a Challie 2.

If that's the case, how much will I need to swot up on Grey's Anatomy?

(The book, not the TV show...duh.)

Another fine example of Narcoleptic's razor sharp wit.

This is my recommendation for a pre-hospital care text. Well written, evidence based and delivered at the right level.
Hope this helps :D

dont forget - you're still a trainee until you have passed your class one course

and yes, life in your first posting after phase two training (when you are a class two medic) may appear pointless and dull, but you are still learning the trade.

Hopefully you'll pass your class ones first time (if you put a little effort in on a regular basis), get your your first stripe - then youre off!

Off to a teeth arms unit - and you are it! the medic - doing the job with the knowledge and experience that youve learned from your first post.

good luck and enjoy
