Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Does any body know what my pension could be
  2. Negligible
  3. All depends on whether your reasons for discharge were deemed to be attributable to Military Service.

I would suggest that you get in touch with the RBL and seek advice with regards to resettlement courses.
  4. Its attributable to Military Service im also worried about leaving got my board in march. Might try and stay
  5. This has been covered before - go to Forums and search for pensions.

It depends upon the Board etc. I can give you a rough idea next week.

  6. 4-5 Pte/Lcpl/Cpl:
This is from last year 2006

    Service Invaliding Pension.
Number of years reckonable service on the form, it starts at year 5.
    5 years Pte/L/Cpl £2,691 per year.
5 years Cpl £3,476 per year. But remember this is from last year with a date of March 2005 on the form, you could add £100/200 on it, for this year.
  7. It is all dependant upon the level of disability that you are assessed at upon the completion of your Medical Board, you will only receive a Lump Sum if deemed under 20% of attritiable disability, over 20% and you are looking at an attritiable Lump Sum and an Invaliding Pension. This percentage is decided at the Pensions Wing at Glasgow upon reciept of your Med Board Paperwork, assuming that they P8 you.
  8. Toughin up princess!,
