medical at basic

  1. hiya, is the medical they do at the beginning of phase 1 exactly the same as the one at selection? im thinking specifically the spiro test, because i really didnt like it at ADSC. also if your BMI is over what it should be will you be sent home, or will they let you carry on if your fit enough. i have found lately that im fitter than ive ever been, and can easily do a 10.30 mile and half, but im weighing a stone over my 'ideal' BMI.

  3. thanks, but ive had a look and couldnt really find the answer, which is why i posted this.
     
  4. They only done a sprio test on me at ADSC but not at basic, but they do a more thourough medical at basic than they do at selection.
     
  5. Talking about BMI, i have gained a few lbs since selection, im 5ft10, slim/average build, and weigh 10 stone 9lbs is this ok? because i was about 9 stone 10lbs at selection?
     
  6. how is the medical more thourough at basic? what else do they check?

  8. Do they do a hearing test during the medical in basic training?
