Well my single GSM '62 w/c N Ireland is court mounted. Mind you if your son is expecting any other medals in the next month or so then it perhaps is a tad early. However, single medal and court mounting are OK (or were a couple of decades ago :) )

  3. Court mounting is a personal choice at the individuals expense. Nothing in pam 10 to state otherwise. Royal duties it's free.

Hooped because you can't be bothered to post it in an appropriate forum.

  5. Yeh I've heard what Blob says - Only units on public duties will automatically court mounted. So if everybody else in the unit has swing, I'd go swing with it! Otherwise it could look out of place. Not sure how backibng on court works, I know Guards division uses a red backing, but becareful on that front (Or back) as well.

  6. I'll lend you some of mine if your NI medal is feeling lonely.

  7. Speak to Bravo Bravo, he'll give you some Rifles PSI Diffy ones if you want to out gong Prince Charles.
