Med discharge question

#1
Hi all just a quick question or two...my hubbie has been recommended for a full med discharge after 15 yrs service in the infantry. Do you know how long this process could take? Can I get a forecast of any figures so we can try to ascertain if we can buy a property or rent? Also, we've been told that as he's being med discharged we can claim off PAX insurance, is this correct?

sorry, so many questions but seem to be on our own with this one.

thanks in advance

Plenty of relevant info on most of the threads in this forum. You may as well start your research into the process by reading them, and if you feel your on your own kick off at your hubbies unit, it's their job to keep him and you informed.

Our pax insurance covers full med discharge through jbi so might be worth having a look at. Only noticed that myself yesterday, only a small payout but something is better than nowt.

Best check your paperwork.

RTFQ - this isn't about JBI it's about PAX.
